So a week has passed in Denmark and one thing is more apparent than anything else ... it is cold!! Another thing is apparent ... I miss Barcelona! And so the following weeks will be concerned with finishing the project to return to Barcelona as fast as possible.

I visited Malmø this weekend to celebrate the birthday of my childhood friend. He too has chosen to leave Denmark though it may be for other reasons than mine ... and it was good to be among the old friends.

But the talks around the dinning-table also showed me that my newly formed references makes it more difficult to follow the jokes. So many references to television programs I haven't seen and characters I don't know.

It is curious how local we still are in this time of globalization. It is scary how much we rely on television and radio as reference points.
